Warranty Policy

Last Updated: 15 August 2026

This Warranty Policy describes the general warranty framework applicable to eligible PM Bazaar products.

The exact warranty period, coverage and exclusions may vary according to the product, model, quotation, invoice, warranty certificate or purchase agreement.

  1. Important Warranty Principle

Product-Specific Warranty Terms Apply

The warranty period and coverage applicable to a particular product shall be determined by the warranty information provided with that product or stated in the applicable:

  • Quotation
  • Invoice
  • Purchase order
  • Warranty certificate
  • Product documentation
  • Written agreement

Nothing in this general policy overrides a specific written warranty provided for a product.

  1. Who Is Eligible

Warranty benefits are generally available to the original purchaser, subject to:

  • Valid purchase documentation
  • Applicable warranty period
  • Proper installation
  • Proper use
  • Compliance with operating instructions
  • Applicable warranty conditions

Warranty rights may not automatically transfer to another owner unless expressly agreed.

  1. What May Be Covered

Depending on the product, warranty coverage may include manufacturing defects in:

  • FRP structure
  • Manufacturing workmanship
  • Certain factory-installed components

Coverage depends on the applicable product warranty.

  1. FRP Tank Warranty

For FRP tanks, warranty coverage may relate to manufacturing defects in the tank structure, subject to the specific product warranty.

Warranty does not automatically cover damage resulting from improper:

  • Installation
  • Handling
  • Transportation after delivery
  • Foundation
  • Plumbing
  • Use
  • Maintenance
  • Chemical exposure
  • Modification
  1. Wave Technology Equipment

Where PM Bazaar supplies wave-generation equipment or associated components, individual components may have different warranty periods.

The applicable warranty document shall specify coverage.

  1. Electrical and Mechanical Components

Components such as:

  • Pumps
  • Motors
  • Controllers
  • Electrical components
  • Sensors
  • Other equipment

may be covered under separate manufacturer or supplier warranties.

Where applicable, warranty claims may be subject to the original component manufacturer’s terms.

  1. Warranty Exclusions

Warranty may not cover damage caused by:

  • Accident
  • Abuse
  • Negligence
  • Improper handling
  • Improper installation
  • Incorrect foundation
  • Unauthorised modification
  • Unauthorised repair

Damage caused by incorrect:

may not be covered unless such installation was performed by PM Bazaar under an applicable service agreement.

Warranty does not guarantee:

  • Fish survival
  • Fish growth
  • Production
  • Profit
  • FCR
  • ROI
  • Stocking density
  • Disease prevention

These are affected by farming and environmental conditions.

  1. Inspection

PM Bazaar may require:

  • Photographs
  • Videos
  • Technical information
  • Site inspection
  • Product inspection
  • Installation details

before determining whether a claim is covered.

  1. Warranty Remedy

If a valid warranty claim is accepted, PM Bazaar may, depending on the circumstances:

  • Repair the product
  • Replace a defective component
  • Replace the product
  • Provide another appropriate remedy

The remedy will be determined based on:

  • Nature of defect
  • Product
  • Warranty terms
  • Availability
  • Technical feasibility
  1. Transportation During Warranty

Warranty-related transportation, labour, dismantling, installation or site-visit costs may or may not be covered depending on the applicable warranty terms.

Customers should confirm these terms before requesting service.

  1. Installation by Third Parties

Where installation is performed by a third party not authorised by PM Bazaar, warranty coverage may be affected if the defect is related to installation or handling.

  1. Unauthorised Repairs

Unauthorised repairs or modifications may void applicable warranty coverage where they cause or contribute to the defect.

  1. Warranty Documentation

Customers should preserve:

  • Invoice
  • Order confirmation
  • Warranty certificate
  • Installation documents
  • Service records

These may be required for warranty verification.

  1. Warranty Transfer

Warranty transfer to a subsequent owner is not automatic unless expressly permitted in writing.

  1. No Cash Refund Automatically

A warranty claim does not automatically entitle the customer to a cash refund.

The remedy will depend on the applicable warranty terms and nature of the issue.

  1. Relationship With Return Policy

Warranty and return are separate concepts.

A product may be outside the return period but still eligible for a valid warranty claim.

Likewise, a product may not qualify for warranty if the issue resulted from misuse or another exclusion.

  1. Third-Party Components

Where a component is covered by a third-party manufacturer warranty, the applicable manufacturer terms may apply.

  1. Changes to Warranty Policy

PM Bazaar may update this general Warranty Policy from time to time.

Specific written warranty terms supplied with a product will continue to govern that product.
